Brian Walshe is an Irish entrepreneur, investor and business advisor. He is best known as the founder and CEO of Walshe Group, a private equity and venture capital firm. Born in Dublin, Ireland, Walshe was raised in a middle-class family.

He attended Trinity College Dublin, where he studied Business and Finance. After graduating in 2001, he began his career in private equity, working at a number of firms in the United States and Ireland. In 2008, Walshe founded his own private equity and venture capital firm, Walshe Group.

The firm invests in early-stage companies and has helped to launch some of the most successful startups in the world, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Airbnb. In addition to his work with Walshe Group, Walshe also works as an advisor for a number of companies. Brian Walshe is an Irish international footballer who currently plays for Championship side Sheffield Wednesday. He began his career at his hometown club Bray Wanderers, where he scored 13 goals in 24 appearances for club in the League of Ireland Premier Division.

He then moved to English club Reading in January 2019, where he made an immediate impact and played regularly for the side in the Championship. He scored 4 goals in 33 appearances during the 2018/19 season, helping the club to secure a mid-table finish. In July 2019, Walshe signed a three-year deal with Sheffield Wednesday, becoming the club's first signing of the summer transfer window.

He has since become a regular in the starting eleven and has made a total of 34 appearances for the Owls in all competitions. Walshe has also represented his country at both Under-21 and senior level, making his senior debut in a 4-1 win against Bulgaria in October 2019.
